I’ve been building a project called AfterRead. The idea came from something I noticed around me: Reading books is one of the most intellectually powerful habits, but it’s often treated as low priority because it doesn’t produce visible outcomes like money, grades, or fame. Most people read a book, gain insights, and move on. Those thoughts stay private and eventually fade. I wanted to build a place where the thinking that happens after reading actually matters. So I built AfterRead — a reflection-first identity platform where readers can share one thoughtful reflection for each book they read.
