I designed this cover for the personal development/lifestyle genre, focusing on the "Nomadic" and "Mindfulness" niche. The goal was to create a visual identity that felt both premium and deeply personal, moving away from generic stock imagery to create a one-of-a-kind piece of art.
The Creative Process
Custom Digital Artistry: I developed a high-energy, abstract centerpiece using heavy digital brushstrokes. The teal tones represent clarity and tranquility, while the dark charcoal accents add depth and professional weight.
Visual Psychology: The fluid motion of the artwork is a metaphor for the "journey of life," designed to catch the eye of readers looking for transformation and growth.
Typography & Branding: I paired a clean, modern sans-serif for the brand name with a bold, hand-styled serif for the title to ensure maximum legibility at thumbnail size—critical for performance on platforms like Amazon KDP.
