WinWhen — Event-Based Social App
WinWhen is a social app built around events. People create an event, share it, see who is coming, and keep talking in real time before and after it happens. I built the Flutter app end to end, and it's live on the Google Play Store.
Event creation and discovery. A feed of featured and upcoming events with images, date, time, location and category. Each event carries an RSVP state — going or not interested — so organisers can see attendance build up instead of guessing.
Real-time chat. Implemented private and group messaging over a persistent Socket connection, with typing indicators, presence status showing who is online, and live activity tracking so the conversation stays current without manual refreshing.
Social layer. Friend profiles showing follower counts and the events a person is attending or hosting, which gives people a reason to come back between events.
Push notifications. Integrated push so users are pulled back for event invites, RSVPs and new messages, which was the main lever for engagement.
State and routing are handled with GetX, with all data served through a REST API.

Classaty — School Management System
Classaty is a school management platform connecting students, parents, teachers and administrators in one system. I built the Flutter apps end to end — both the user app and the separate admin app — and all four listings are live on the Google Play Store and the App Store.
Multi-role architecture. Four distinct roles with their own permissions and dashboards: students see assignments and grades, parents track their child's attendance and progress, teachers manage classes and grading, admins oversee the whole institution.
Real-time communication. Integrated Socket-based chat so parents and students can message teachers directly, backed by Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications on new messages, grades and announcements.
Payments. Integrated MyFatoorah for secure in-app subscription payments.
Academic core. Attendance tracking, assignment submission and review, grading with GPA calculation across term results, exam schedules and class timetables.
State management is handled with Bloc, with all data served through a REST API.

This is Mauritius — Travel & Tour Guide App
A location-based travel and tour guide app for Mauritius, built in Flutter and shipped to both the Google Play Store and the App Store. I built a map-first discovery experience using Google Maps, where visitors browse resorts, beaches, spas and restaurants by category and see them plotted geographically with custom markers. Venue detail pages are rendered dynamically from a REST API — photos, ratings, contact details, description and booking. I also added a QR code scanner so visitors can scan a code at a venue and jump straight to its details, useful for on-site check-in. For performance, I cached venue and session data locally with SharedPreferences, which cut repeated API calls and keeps detail pages loading fast on a weak signal — a real constraint for tourists on limited mobile data. State and routing across the app are handled with GetX.
