Introducing to you "The Chromatic Drop", an abstract, animated short film exploring the intersection of emotion, color, and fluid dynamics. Set in a sterile, monochromatic world, the story follows an animated wanderer who uses a single droplet of pigment to trigger a gravity-defying explosion of vibrant, artistic life. Watch as the environment evolves from a flat, colorless 2D space into a vibrant, immersive 3D world.
This project was created entirely from scratch for the CapCut Video Studio Challenge, pushing the limits of AI-generated fluid simulations, multi-frame animation, and abstract world-building.
