:Niebla is a self-initiated brand and menu design project for a Oaxacan mezcalería concept in Brooklyn, New York. The name means fog — a nod to the haze of the highlands where the agave grows and the meditative quality of a long mezcal dinner. The identity needed to feel rooted in Oaxacan culture without exoticizing it — serious about the spirit, warm toward the guest. The system spans logo, typography, menu design, table collateral, coasters, matchbooks, and takeout packaging, with the sage and terracotta palette carrying through every touchpoint. The menu is the centerpiece — designed with the same editorial rigor as a publication, because a great menu is one.

Cantera is a self-initiated brand identity project for a historic boutique hotel in Charleston, South Carolina — a house built in 1847. The brief called for an identity that honored the building's age without feeling like a museum, and felt personal rather than corporate. The system spans logo design, typography, stationery, guest welcome collateral, key card holders, and in-room amenity packaging — candle labels, soap boxes, matchboxes. Every piece carries the same restrained elegance: the brand holds together whether a guest sees the website or unwraps a bar of soap.

Tlahuilli is a self-initiated brand identity project for a boutique hotel in Tepoztlán, Morelos — a region known for it's landscape and spiritual draw. The brief called for a visual system that felt rooted in place without relying on regional clichés. The identity spans logo design, typography system, and guest-facing print collateral including key card holders, door hangers, welcome cards, and business cards alongside a Squarespace website designed to convert browsers into reservations. Every touchpoint was designed to hold together as a system — the same logic applied whether a guest is reading a website or picking up a door hanger.

:danello is a brand identity project for a dark kitchen bakery based in Veracruz, Mexico — a small, founder-led operation specializing in modern pastry. The brief called for a brand that felt approachable and warm without losing the refinement the product deserved. The identity spans logo design, packaging, menu design, and customer collateral — from the patterned delivery box to the thank you card tucked inside every order. The blush and wine palette carries through every touchpoint, turning each delivery into a brand experience. This was a real client engagement — the studio's first paid brand identity project in the food and beverage space.
