The Problem:
Lack of Trust & Authority: Freelance designers and front-end engineers often struggle to present their full range of technical skills alongside visual creative work.
Poor Content Structure: Mixing commercial SaaS projects with personal 3D/artwork explorations usually creates visual clutter.
Low Conversion Rate: Standard portfolios fail to show immediate availability or past company credibility clearly.
The UX Solution & Design Strategy:
1. Trust-Building Hero Section:
Designed an immediate credibility bar highlighting specific past experience (Loopcraft, Tallyhive), remote availability status, and role definition.
2. Clear Categorization (Client Work vs. Creative Explorations):
Divided the structure into distinct sections: "Selected Work" for serious commercial SaaS case studies, and "Explorations / Made for Fun" for 3D render studies, illustrations, and visual experiments.
3. Modern Dark Mode Aesthetic:
Utilized high-contrast typography, deep obsidian dark background, and clean card rounded corners to give a sleek, premium SaaS feel.
4. Interactive Project Cards:
Implemented realistic device mockups (MacBook, iMac, iPhone) to showcase real-world responsive visual outputs.
