Have you noticed the tiny “hide / show replies” button under Instagram comments? It’s so small it frustrates me.
That’s when I realized: as designers, we’re basically collecting taste all day; & then forgetting it 3 seconds later.
So for the Figma x Contra challenge, I built Notice.
Anytime you’re using an app and something feels designed, you tap Notice. The screen freezes, a lens shows up, and you frame the exact detail you noticed. Then you note your observation & save it as “inspired” or “to avoid.”
The interaction language is inspired by cameras: a viewfinder lens, a focus pull, a shutter-like capture, with a bit of grain to make the moment feel intentional.
Use Notice to build your personal library of taste. Because in an AI world, taste is the differentiator.
