SR&ED OverviewDouglas Schlenker
Canadian businesses may be eligible to receive federal and provincial tax credits through the Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) program, administered by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
To be eligible for SR&ED tax credits, companies must be engaged in activities that involve the development or improvement of a product, process, or service. These activities must be conducted in Canada, and the company must own or have rights to the SR&ED results.
If your company is eligible for SR&ED tax credits, you can apply for the federal tax credit, which is equal to 15% of eligible SR&ED expenditures and you may also be eligible for additional provincial tax credits, which vary by province.
Working with your organization, I will:
1. Provide an initial introduction on SR&ED, what it is and why it is important.
2. Conduct an initial assessment on SR&ED opportunities & challenges with the organization.

What's included

Following an initial call, you will be given an assessment on whether it makes sense for your business to pursue SR&ED tax credits and a the initial steps you will need to take to submit an application.
