Process

I take a structured yet collaborative approach to designing apparel, ensuring that each step aligns with your vision and brand goals. Here’s what you can expect when working with me:

1. Discovery & Concept Development (Week 1-2)

We start with a consultation to discuss your brand, target audience, design goals, and inspirations.

I conduct trend research and competitive analysis to position your collection effectively.

You’ll receive mood boards and concept sketches that establish the creative direction.

2. Design & Graphics (Week 2-4)

Once the direction is approved, I create detailed apparel designs, including flat sketches and mockups.

Custom graphics, typography, and print placements are developed for each piece.

I refine color palettes and design elements to ensure a cohesive collection.

3. Technical Development & Production Preparation (Week 4-6)

I create comprehensive tech packs for manufacturers, detailing materials, construction, and specs.

Fabric, trim, and printing technique recommendations are provided.

If needed, I assist in selecting and communicating with manufacturers.

4. Revisions & Finalization (Week 6-7)

You’ll receive the full collection overview, including all finalized assets in a branded presentation.

Two rounds of revisions are included to make any necessary adjustments.

Production-ready files (vector graphics, print-ready artwork, pattern files if applicable) are delivered.

5. Production Support (Optional, Week 7-8+)

If you need additional help, I can liaise with manufacturers, review samples, and ensure quality control.

Guidance on pricing, marketing assets, and launch strategy is available upon request.

The timeline depends on the scope of the project. A small collection (3–5 pieces) typically takes 3–5 weeks, while a larger collection (10+ pieces) may take 6–8 weeks. Timelines also depend on revisions and manufacturer communication.
Do you handle manufacturing?
I don’t manufacture apparel directly, but I can connect you with trusted production partners and assist with communication, file preparation, and quality control to ensure a smooth process.
Do you offer revisions?
Yes, I include two rounds of revisions to ensure the final designs align with your vision. Additional revisions can be made for an extra fee.
