About this service

Summary

Our job is to build brands that thrive in the intersection of achieving your business goals, exceeding your user’s needs, and boasting a great aesthetics. This is what we will craft together.
By starting with discovery, moving into mood boards and finally transitioning into developing and designing logo compositions, the entire process will be collaborative, inspiring, and–most importantly–effective.

Process

We use a multi-phased approach and robust client collaboration to ensure a quality end product.
PHASE 1: DISCOVERY
We begin the logo design process by conducting a discovery meeting with the client. During this meeting, we discuss their business, target audience, competitors, industry, and core values.
PHASE 2: RESEARCH & LOGO CONCEPTS
We’ll design mood boards from the meeting insights – visual collages representing the brand’s personality and aesthetic through three key prompts. This sets the stage for the brand’s visual identity and invites the client to collaborate early in the creative process.
We start drafting logo ideas using the approved mood board as inspiration. I create hand-drawn sketches or rough black-and-white concept designs. These initial designs are presented to the client to determine the general style of the logo and to gather feedback before proceeding with the entire logo design process.
PHASE 3: PRIMARY LOGO DESIGN
We’ll create multiple logo concepts based on the client’s chosen sketch or rough concept and collaborate with them to refine the final logo within the number of rounds specified in the contract. All logo concepts will be shared on 3-5 visual mockups so that you can see different brand applications and make an informed decision.
Please note that these mockups are just for visual reference. If you need additional brand collateral, it will be charged separately.
PHASE 4: SECONDARY LOGO DESIGNS
Once the primary logo is approved, We’ll design various versions for marketing purposes. These logo variations usually include vertical and horizontal versions, an icon mark with and without text, black-on-white and white-on-black versions, and more. After the client approves all the logos, I export them in the most popular file formats.
PHASE 5: STYLE SHEET
Although a comprehensive style guide is not included in this statement of work, our team always recommends one to help create visual consistency.
We’ll create a style sheet that serves as a reference for your internal design team, vendors, and others authorized to work with your brand.
INCLUDES VISUAL REFERENCES FOR:
• Primary & Secondary Logos
• Typography
• Color Palette (CMYK, RGB, HEX)
and more.
