One person designs and builds your site, so nothing gets lost in handoff. I design marketing sites and web apps in Figma, then build them in Next.js and Tailwind. I only build in Next.js because sticking to one stack keeps quality high and timelines honest. My own portfolio at nfadux.tech is built this way.
What is included, starting with a scope of up to 5 pages:
A discovery call with a content and structure plan. Custom Figma design, no templates. Production build in Next.js and Tailwind that is responsive, fast and accessible. Basic SEO, analytics and deployment. One revision round at design and one at build. Handover with a clean codebase and a walkthrough.
Pricing:
$75 per hour. For reference, senior web designers in the US average around $103 per hour and senior Next.js developers charge $100 to $150. A typical 5 page site takes about 30 hours a week for 3 weeks. We agree on scope and a weekly hour cap in writing before anything starts, so the total stays predictable.
Terms:
Every engagement starts with a Statement of Work and an SLA covering scope, weekly hour cap, revision rounds and response times. Both of us sign it before work begins. The first week of hours is paid upfront to hold the slot. After that I log hours and bill weekly through Contra, so payments are protected for both of us.
