Software with real consequences is where I work. SaaS platforms, enterprise consoles and digital twins. I design the system first, the service blueprint and information architecture, then the interface.
What is included, starting with one product area or dashboard:
Discovery with stakeholder interviews, service blueprint and competitor teardown. Research such as card sorts, tree tests or usability sessions, depending on the problem. Information architecture and user flows. Design system foundation with tokens, components and patterns. High fidelity UI in Figma, developer ready with annotations. Usability test of the final flows plus one iteration round. Handover session with your engineers.
Proof:
BINGO Admin Console went from a SUS score of 28 to 81. Search time dropped 68% and task completion rose from 42% to 92%. The Spatialworks digital twin design system cut engineering effort 30% and helped win six enterprise contracts, including Keppel and DB Schenker.
Pricing:
$95 per hour. Senior product designers in the US charge $80 to $135 per hour, and design system or enterprise platform work usually sits at the top of that range. A single product area takes around 30 hours a week for about 6 weeks. We agree on scope and a weekly hour cap in writing before anything starts.
Terms:
Every engagement starts with a Statement of Work and an SLA covering scope, weekly hour cap, revision rounds and response times. Both of us sign it before work begins. The first week of hours is paid upfront to hold the slot. After that I log hours and bill weekly through Contra, so payments are protected for both of us.
