For the majority of the cases, it should be a positive closure, thanking them for their contributions, receiving honest feedback of their experience for the team's ongoing improvement and leaving the door open for future collaboration. In the cases of disciplinary action, emphasis is made on why this decision was made but hopeful that if lessons are learnt, the team member still has a bright future.
