Help your teaching team use generative AI with clearer purpose and better judgement. A live, practical workshop gives educators a repeatable approach to prompting, reviewing outputs and protecting learner information.

Who this is for

Language schools, small academic departments and training providers who want practical staff development in educational AI use. Delivered remotely in English for up to ten educators, with examples tailored to one teaching context.

What you receive

• A short pre-session needs questionnaire and a 20-minute planning call with the organiser.
• One customised 90-minute live workshop for up to ten participants.
• An editable slide deck and PDF handout.
• Two guided activities: improve a lesson-planning prompt and evaluate an AI-generated learner-feedback example.
• A practical output-review checklist, a ten-question learning check with answer guidance and a blank attendance/training-log template.
• A team action plan with three agreed next steps.
• A 30-minute follow-up call with the organiser within seven calendar days of the workshop.

What the workshop covers

Choosing a useful teaching task; giving a tool context and constraints; spotting invented facts and inaccurate language feedback; checking learner-level suitability; keeping identifiable learner information out of prompts; documenting human review; and communicating AI use within your institution’s existing rules.

How we work

1. We identify the staff group, tools, priorities and current institutional policy.
2. I prepare examples for your agreed context using synthetic or appropriately redacted material.
3. Your team participates in the live workshop and leaves with a short action plan.
4. I send the materials within two business days, then meet the organiser for the follow-up.

What I need from you

Team size, teaching context, current tools, participant familiarity, institution policy, preferred dates and time zone. The organiser arranges meeting access and confirms who will attend. Do not send identifiable learner records or account passwords.

Price and timing

USD 650 for one workshop and the stated preparation, resources and organiser follow-up. The indicative project window is two weeks from the agreed start date; the live date is confirmed before booking. Tool subscriptions and platform charges are separate. Recording is optional and requires the organiser’s and participants’ agreement before the session. One consolidated correction round for the handout is included within seven calendar days of delivery.

Why work with me

I am Suliman Abdelaty, FHEA, FRSA, a Google Certified Trainer and Google Certified Educator (Levels 1 and 2). I bring 12+ years in education, academic course leadership and published research on AI readiness in higher education. The workshop connects practical teaching decisions with careful review of AI outputs.

Scope and next step

This is staff development, not legal advice, a compliance certificate or a technical security audit. The learning check and log support your own training records; they do not independently demonstrate compliance. Institutional policy drafting, technical deployment and more than ten participants require a separate proposal. Send your team size, teaching context and preferred time zone through Contra to discuss a session.
