What is a Heuristic Usability Evaluation?
User interfaces are much more than pretty colors and code, they also need to be user-friendly and designed humans in mind. A heuristic evaluation is an industry-proven method performed by a professional usability expert to identify usability problems in a user interface against a set of research-based usability guidelines (called heuristics) that make systems easy to use.

A heuristic evaluation is an industry-proven method performed by a professional usability expert to identify usability problems in a user interface against a set of research-based usability guidelines (called heuristics) that make systems easy to use. The deliverable describes the objective usability heuristics (such as Nielsen's Heuristics) in detail to share the evaluation criteria based on which the evaluation is made.
Usability Evaluation Analysis Document
The final document (Slides/PDF) includes description of usability Heuristics used in the evaluation and detailed usability analysis with screenshots and/or screen recordings with description of the issue and severity rating from usability perspective. Each discovered issue is also provided with a suggestion for improved usability.
