Process

Once the projet in web design and development is offered, following steps are performed to meet client requirements:

Milestone 1: Software Requirement Specification document is created and shared with the client, including project start phase, design phase, development phase, pricing, warrantee and services after project delivery.

Milestone 2: Mockup designs are created, including mock designs of all pages, including Home page, About Us, Services, Blogs, Delivery, and Contact.

Milestone 3: Once the Mockup pages are approved from the client, I design web pages by using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, and Figma and share them with the client.

Milestone 4: Development phase starts after getting approval from the client on proposed web designs for the web pages decided in the project scope document.

Milestone 5: Project Test phase that starts once the project development phase is completed and client satisfaction is achieved. After successful testing at Beta Servers, the project is delivered to the client.

Miestone 6: Project warranty of 3 months is offered for bug fixing and maintenance of the project to ensure maximum satisfaction of the client.

I manage risks by identifying project risks predicting what could be wrong, analyse risks, prioritize risks according to their complexity, plan mitigation strategies, monitor risks and update risk status on routine basis to ensure successful project delivery.
What tools are commonly used in the web design and development process?
Web design and development tools and skills of the designer and developer are decided in the project scope to get the consent of the client. I prefer to use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, and Figma for web designs and WordPress, JavaScript for front end, Node.js for Backend and React.JS, depending upon client requirements. When client approves a specific tool or technology is used.

The completed product, service, or solution is provided as specified in the project scope and operational system or application is used in the software development project. Visual Studio, MySQL, or SQL Server is used depending upon the project requirements, target platforms, development tools, and the preferences of the development team. In server-side applications, and open-source projects, Linux Operating System is preferrably used due to its flexibility, open-source nature, and robust command-line tools. Linux is also preferred because it supports frameworks like Python, Java, Node.js, Ruby and more.
Project Documentation
It is an important service in the project development process to document the website or application development projects. It contains software requirement specification for a web or app development project to confirm desired project conditions are met. It contains the user manuals to guide the end-users on how to use the product or service. Technical documentation of the project provides a detailed information for support and maintenance teams. The documentation also contains a detailed project plan that finalize the project timeline, costs and explanation of any deviations from the original plan. It also describes the records of any changes to the project scope, requirements, and objectives. It also contains Test plans and bugs fixing plan or maintenance services that would be provided for three months after the project is successfully designed, developed and delivered to the end-user.
Reports and Analyses
Reports and analyses deliverable contains project summary report, including key achievements, challenges and solutions. It contains risk assessment report, financial report showing breakdown structure of project costs and any budget deviations. Reports and analyses section of the project deliverables also provides performance metrics reports showing project performance metrics, such as timelines, budget adherence and quality standards.
Training, Support Materials and Transition plans
Training and support materials are provided to the end users, operators, or maintenance staff to ensure the successful completion of the project and achievement of desired project objectives.
