Summary
I mix a combination of digital and traditional painting and illustration techniques to create an original design for any book, graphic novel, magazine, etc. I can work across all genres but specialize in children's, young adult, new adult, and romance.
Process
Week One
To get the project started, I will need all the text you would like to be featured on the book cover so that I can get started with an overall composition that will complement the text.
I will need to genre of your book, the logline, and the description of the story. If you provide a chapter(or two) that can also help establish the story, however, that is not needed. I will provide a questionnaire that will also answer important questions about the story and create initial concepts from there.
Once I have sent the initial concepts to you and have them approved, I will flesh out the initial sketch with the final art and color, and fully render it.
Week 2
The illustration and design will be fully rendered by week two. Upon completion, I will provide you with a .pdf and .jpeg version of your book cover design in a CMYK version for print and an RGB version for screens.

How many revisions are allowed?
1 revision is included in this service in order to ensure we capture the perfect illustration for your book.
What if I need more revisions
Sometimes a project can move beyond the intial established scope. If this happens, any extra revsions will be priced at an extra $75 per revision.
Will I have a spine and back cover?
This project is only for an ebook cover. If you would like a paperback, hardback, and/or audiobook cover, please feel free to reach out. If you are interested in more than an ebook cover I have a different service that will provide you with an entire kit for your book that includes paperback, a jacket for hardback, audiobook, and marketing materials to help promote your book.
