Process

2. Blockout & Basic Shapes: A rough 3D model is created using basic shapes. This helps establish the scale, proportions, and overall structure. The blockout ensures the asset integrates well within the game world.

3. High-Poly Sculpting: Using software like ZBrush, I sculpt high-poly models with intricate details. This step brings the asset to life, focusing on texture, surface details, and realistic elements, especially for characters or weapons.

4. Low-Poly Modeling: The high-poly model is optimized by creating a low-poly version that reduces the polygon count while preserving the shape. This is crucial for real-time performance in games like Contra.

5. UV Mapping & Unwrapping: I generate UV maps for the asset, ensuring that textures are applied smoothly. Proper unwrapping helps avoid distortion in textures and makes the painting process more efficient.
