*What's a brand guide?
This is a great question. Brand guides can be short or even hundreds of pages long. They're expanded strategy documents that outline not only the basic and technical details of a brand (like marks, colors and typography) but often also include considerations around voice and tone, conceptual rationale and even history of the brand and thoughts around a brand's "Why". These documents are important to have if you plan on working with multiple creative vendors or have a team executing design work for you as it provides a strong foundation to keep the brand's visual and verbal messages consistent.
