This funnel audit is an affordable, low-risk service helping you understand WHY your sequence may be underperforming, and how to improve it.
Because... Done right, email is a powerful owned channel for increasing retention and customer lifetime value, and lowering acquisition costs over the long term. It's also an excellent medium for establishing a brand moat.
Done wrong, it's a fast-track to inbox reputation damage and deliverability headaches.
This is not an analytics deep dive.

What's included

Reader experience & messaging roadmap PDF
A deep-dive customer-centric analysis of your email funnel, based on information hierarchy, consumer psychology and what we know about your audience. It covers things like: • Narrative architecture and story flow across the sequence • Visual vs verbal balance of current email content • Readability and accessibility of each email •“Next step logic” analysis - is the CTA obvious and does the next touchpoint make sense? • Annotation for each email so you can see exactly where & how to implement suggested changes
FAQs
Nope. Email success is built on a number of factors, including the health of your email list, how well you've nailed your messaging research, and your CRM strategy. I can't promise your conversions will go up, but I do promise that by the end of the audit you'll have a good grip on whether or not the content and reader experience is a variable you need to worry about or not, plus some actionable ideas on how to improve it.
I spent 6 years on the copy and then content teams at a scale-up, where we grew from 30 to 50+million users. I wrote 100s of emails for all sorts of purposes, from transactional and broadcast content to specific campaigns. As a content strategist my customer research and subsequent findings were validated when the team shifted the email content balance toward product education, seeing a huge lift in opens, click-throughs and app engagement. I've also done email-specific conversion copy training, which leans heavily on messaging strategy and understanding inbox behaviours.
I offer separate email strategy and copywriting services, if that's what you mean. I do not offer technical implementation support. I.e. I can provide the research, segmentation rules and strategic copy, but I won't touch your ESP.
