Cohesive, consistent, contemporary, functional, and thoughtful brand identity design is a must in today's commercial landscape, whether you're just launching your product or have been running your company for a long time.
I have been doing brand design in NYC start-to-finish for about 10 years and have worked with clients ranging from tech giants like Apple and Google, to nonprofits and small one-person startups — I know how this works.
Thanks to my agency and in-house experiences, I'm able to provide the level of work you would only be able to achieve if you went to a brand agency, but as a one-person business, I can execute it at a more affordable cost.

What's included

Concept Design
We begin with a broad conversation about your brand, needs, project goals, target audience, and competitive field. That, along with evaluation, research, and visual strategy development, typically leads to two or three high-level design concepts for the identity that are presented to you. Then we — together — pick the direction that reflects your brand goals the most. One revision round is included in the scope, and some time is reserved for an additional round of refinements. This stage of the process will already include look & feel for core brand elements, but in the next phase we will refine them. Deliverable format: PDF / Keynote / Slides
Brand Codes
After the visual concept is refined, I further develop the core brand elements (brand codes). I don't typically provide a pre-set cookie-cutter template and find it more helpful to customize elements for each project — while one brand may need a pattern or a monogram, another may not — but core elements for modern brands will almost always include a logotype, a favicon/social media icon, a cross-functional color palette and brand typography. After a review meeting, an additional refinements round is included for high-craft elements like the wordmark and icon. Deliverable format: EPS / PNG / AI / PDF
Three Core Starter Applications
After I have developed the brand look & feel and key assets like the logo, we take a closer look at a few key brand applications to set you up for a successful brand launch. These are fully custom to what your industry and needs are, and examples may include any three deliverables from the list below: business card, letterhead, notecard, shopping bag, social header, one-pager, newsletter banner, hangtag, name tag, tote bag, t-shirt, pin, sign post, door plate, cover art, presentation deck title slide, billboard. Deliverable files are editable, so you could, for example, change names on your business cards moving forward without having to commission me again. Deliverable format: AI / PSD / InDesign Document / PDF
