Functional, contemporary, and well-executed logotype is a must-have for any company, whether launching their first product or re-evaluating their brand.
I have been crafting custom logotypes and brand identities start-to-finish for more than 10 years and have worked with clients ranging from tech giants like Apple and Google, to nonprofits and small one-person startups — I know how this works.
Thanks to my agency and in-house experiences, I'm able to provide the level of work you would only be able to achieve if you went to a brand agency, but as a one-person business, I can execute it at a more affordable cost.

What's included

Initial Consultation & Logo Design Strategy
We begin with a broad conversation about your logo needs, goals, target audience, and competitive field. That, along with name evaluation, comparative research, and visual strategy development, leads to a high-level logo design strategy that is presented to you. Revise existing for brand recognition, or start anew? Handwritten logo or monogram? Icon or wordmark? Serif or Sans? Personal taste and industry benchmarks? Legibility, specifics of any given field, applications — like if you need to put your logo on a baseball hat or X icon — and other considerations will be discussed and recommendations will be issued. Deliverable format: PDF / Keynote / Slides
Custom Logotype
Based on decisions made during initial consultation and strategy session, we proceed to the development of your custom logotype that is presented to you. The work is always original and the logotype — whether a wordmark or a logo, or a combination of both — is drawn by hand. One revision round is included in the scope, and some time is reserved for an additional round of small refinements. The final files are delivered ready to go for print, digital, and other uses. Deliverable format: EPS / PNG / AI / PDF
FAQs
Yes, I typically do not create logotypes by modifying existing fonts. With more than 10 years of experience drawing custom letters, I know exactly what I want and how to make it. Modifying fonts for logos is also oftentimes not permitted by font designers.
There's time and place for many different creatives and their varied ways of working, but let me say this: a logo done in one day is made using a well-known font — likely used by millions of people — that maybe had one or two letters modified. From a craft perspective, that's like comparing a fully custom-sewn suit built by a couturier, to a jacket and pants from a random store on a side of the road.
My pricing strategy is generous for what my clients get. I sleep well knowing they picked me not because I gave them the lowest price, but because they see the value of the years I spent refining my craft, recognize the advantages my unique skillset brings, and appreciate the days I poured into crafting the logotype that will represent their business for years to come.
This scope is meant to control your cost, avoid scope creep, give you a clear expectation, and keep us on schedule. I'm happy to do more! Check out my other services or reach out with a description of what you need.
