Process

To summarise the process of how I like to work, this is how it looks
1st stage - exploration -
Immerse in the product background and market for a better understanding.
Clarify any unresolved details from the client's brief
Explore first ideas or approaches
Generate initial ideas and approaches
2nd stage - execution
Present three design options based on insights from the exploration stage
Client selects a design for feedback. (Up to 3 rounds of amends)
3rd stage - finalisation
Fine-tune the chosen design, including full layout, image retouching, and illustration adjustments
4th stage - delivery
Prepare pre-artwork files and deliver diverse formats: logo variations, 2D visuals, complete packaging layouts, images, illustrations, and fonts.

FAQs

  • Are my files ready to print?

    The delivered files should undergo a thorough review at the local print house for printing optimisation. All files will incorporate any specifications provided by the client before the project commencement to ensure the delivery of the most optimised files

  • Can I use the fonts and illustrations from the pack for other purposes?

    All images and fonts incorporated in the packaging are legally acquired, specifically for use within the designated pack design, adhering to usage rights. Any usage beyond the pack design is the sole responsibility of the client.

  • What information is required before project kick-off

    A comprehensive brief is crucial, outlining the product's purpose, positioning, target market, and background. The richness of information enhances the generation of exploratory ideas in the initial stage and contributes to the creation of more meaningful concepts.

  • Logo design for on pack format

    A logo design that will perform at it best on shelf in different file formats: RGB / jpg format / png format / illustrator format CMYK / jpg format / png format / illustrator format

  • Design Assets

    A document with all the different assets created in separate files: / logo / pack design front view 2D visual / images / iconography (if the case) / illustrations used (if the case, illustrations will need to be commissioned to an illustrator to deliver a more eye-catching design / fonts // *All images and fonts can only be used within the packaging design. They must be purchased by the client in order to have the rights for usage outside the packaging design provided.

  • Packaging or label design

    Your packaging or label design full layout with images & typefaces applied to the die-cut provided previously, and ready to send to the print provider following their print specifications. / pre-artwork file: full layout design applied to the die-cut / images used on the file (if the case) / fonts used on the file // *All images and fonts used must be purchased by the client in order to have the rights for usage outside the packaging design provided.

  • Key Visual

    UPON REQUEST: portrait or landscape A4 image of the product visual interacting with a title and some graphic elements to bring the pack design to life outside of it.
