I'll meet with the client to gather background and results of the completed work and set expectations for deliverables. We'll discuss if interviews with subject matter experts who were involved in the work are necessary (interviews incur an additional fee of $50/hour). I'll clarify the house style guidelines (for example, AP Style) or if there is a company specific style guide, the client will share that with me. I'll also clarify whether client quotes are an option or possible for the case study, and whether any assets like images, videos or graphics are available to help me write and also include in the case study. I'll also make sure to clarify the top-line business result(s) that should be featured that will serve as the guide and destination for the case study.
