Process

🔄 The Illustration Process
1️⃣ Reading Manuscript & Briefing Discussion - Read the manuscript thoroughly; discuss key scenes and how to represent them visually to Understand your story, vision, and illustration style.
2️⃣ Research & Brainstorming - Research themes, styles, and references. Brainstorm ideas for characters, backgrounds, and overall art direction.
3️⃣ Character Sketches - Create character concepts and Draft designs, settings, and page layouts based on the story.
4️⃣ Layout Draft - Create rough sketches to define scene compositions and revise the layout if needed.
5️⃣ Colouring Draft - Add colour to the sketches, refine the illustrations' final look, and revise colours and details based on feedback.
6️⃣ Illustration Development – Creating and refining full-colour illustrations.
7️⃣ Layout Design & Text Placement – Formatting the book layout using Indesign.
8️⃣ Final Illustration in Indesign - Place illustrations with text in the final Indesign layout and Make final adjustments to both illustration and layout.
9️⃣ Final Export & Delivery - Export the final illustrated book in PDF format and Deliver all required files to the client.

    Professional Indesign layout design, exported as PDF/JPEG. * 1st revision: Draft layout for review （storyboard). * 2nd revision: Final layout with text adjustments.

  • Final High-Resolution Files
