The visual identity represents the way your brand is visually recognized among your market competitors. This is part of the fundamentals of a brand that wants to be distinguished when communicating. As a result, this process is not supposed to be underestimated.
The design process will be organized into a few steps:
MEETING / I will need to understand your priorities, goals and brand value. We will arrange a meeting call where you will have the chance to share all this information with me. Finally, we will decide on a timeframe to follow considering the next phases: Research and ideation, Design and review, and Finalization and delivery.
RESEARCH AND IDEATION / The design process always starts with research on market trends, competitors' brand identities and concept development. I will gather inspirational cases and elements that I think can be useful during the concept development and I will send everything to you. This phase is crucial because I will need your cooperation in order to achieve 2 suitable proposals, in agreement with you.
DESIGN AND REVIEW / I will come up with two different concepts. Each proposal will be integrated with visual research about which elements I have taken into consideration for the design. Then, if applicable, there will be the tagline presentation and colour research from which I will identify a coherent colour palette. Finally, the logo option will include negative and positiveversions of the mark. After this, I will collect the coherent improvements from you in order to move toward the final version.
FINALIZATION AND DELIVERY / The functionality of a logo design is limited if not applied to real materials. I will create a visual motif (vectorial graphics, A4 format) which is an element that can bring coherence to your brand's visual communication. I will provide you with a standard business card (ex: vert/hor 8,5x5,5cm card) and a branded letterhead graphic. This will give you the possibility to receive a tool you can use immediately. I consider possible minor changes which can include elements hierarchy changes or extra additional elements (ex: QR codes). Finally, I will deliver your new logo and stationery including:
What's included
Visual strategy
Considering the values of the brand, its mission and the target, I identify the best visual approach in order to combine a strategic purpose with the appropriate appeal.
2 Design concepts
I will develop two logo design proposals for your new visual identity. From here, you will review and choose which one you want to implement. If applicable, the deliverables can include a tagline and a coherent colour palette per each.
Revision
In order to proceed toward the finalization within the timeline, we will have the opportunity to collect improvements to apply to the choice.
Pattern element
Once the mark is identified, I will create a pattern from the option you will choose. This element can be useful for basic online or offline communication, such as social media posts, graphic walls, merchandise, etc.
Declination to collateral materials
Once the mark is identified, I will realize the base stationery which includes a business card and a letterhead sample.
Deliver high resolution files
When the final design is approved, I will share with you all the final files to ensure the correct usage of the formats from now on (adobe illustrator file, jpg and png).
