Process

A good process is a custom one. Every project is unique and so is the process that brings it to life. So my process is flexible and depending on your business goals, user needs and your wants. (Checkout the example projects linked below the service info) Here's a general outline of the process I follow - Discovery - First, I begin with a Kick-off meeting to understand your needs, your vision, and your business goals. Then, I conduct in-depth research about your target audience. Through interviews, surveys, and competitor analysis, I gather insights about your users' pain points and expectations. This forms the foundation of our design strategy.
Initial iteration - If the project is in the concept stage, I make mood boards based on the direction we spoke about in the discovery call. I take feedback and we work together, till we are on the same page about the general theme and visual direction of the website. Next, I craft low-fidelity wireframes that focus purely on layout and structure, without distractions from colors or images. These wireframes help us define the most efficient and user-friendly flow of your product. I also design a few hi-fidelity design screens to take accurate feedback. You’ll review the layout, visuals, and functionality. This is where we’ll gather your input on what’s working and what needs tweaking. We focus on things like user flow, usability, and any specific elements you want adjusted.
Design Iteration -
This process includes fleshing out all design screens from wireframes. To back up design decisions, I’ll run quick usability tests with real users. This helps identify pain points or any parts of the design that aren’t intuitive. User feedback is gold for making meaningful improvements.
Next is refining the design. Based on your feedback and user testing, I’ll make necessary adjustments to the design. This could be enhancing or redesigning visual details, refining interaction points, or optimizing the user journey. I keep it agile, so the design evolves until it’s polished and feels right.
Final Review: Once all adjustments are made, we do a final review to make sure all are boxes are checked and the user experience is smooth like butter. At this point, it’s ready to move forward into development or go live.
Handoff & Design System Creation -
Once the final design is approved, I create a design system that includes reusable UI components, style guidelines, and patterns to ensure consistency across your product. All final design files are handed off, organized, and ready for development. Post-Launch Support & Iteration
Even after the handoff, I provide post-launch support to help the design to be implemented correctly. I am available to collaborate with developers. Based on feedback from users after launch, small design adjustments can be made to enhance the user experience further.
