Whether you're creating marketing materials, an annual report, a performance update for your team, or any other data-driven document, DESIGN MATTERS. I integrate statistical analysis with beautiful design principles to craft compelling PDF reports that tell your company's story. I'm a PhD student at Harvard University studying sociology, which means I'm an expert in human-centered statistical analysis, and I have a minor in computer science, making me a speedy and competent programmer equipped to handle data in any format.

Process

First, we'll talk about what data you have and how you want it to end up. We'll go over the scope of the project, and I'll provide an estimated timeline and budget. Once we have the details figured out, we'll start a contract and work together on your terms. If you'd like to set specific milestones and meetings, I can rock with that. If you'd prefer that I finish the product before reaching back out, I can rock with that too. I do not need much oversight but am happy to provide intermediate results where needed.

  • How long will this take?

    I aim to provide expedient results. The exact timeline will depend on (1) the amount of data pre-processing required and (2) the scope/length of the report. At our consultation, I'll provide a better estimate. I am committed to meeting deadlines (it's my personal pet peeve when people don't)!

  • Why should I hire you?

    I am highly qualified. I have three years of experience in data analytics, and I've helped companies ranging from a small nonprofit to a large community college understand key insights from messy data. Most importantly, I am uniquely equipped with both data skills and design skills, making me the perfect choice for creating a compelling, accurate report. Plus, I'm just starting out on Contra specifically, so I'm able to offer you an extremely competitive hourly rate! And candidly, grad school is expensive--so I'd really appreciate the opportunity to help you achieve your data goals.

  • Tell me more about yourself!

    I'm originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, and I attended Ohio State for undergrad. This fall, I'll be starting my PhD in Sociology at Harvard University. Outside of work, I love to crochet, longboard, and cook. I'm also an avid thrifter, and I try to only buy things secondhand!
