I have designed 130+ websites in my career and each is unique to the needs, goals, services, and mission of the business / brand. Designing and developing a website is an extensive way to hone in on the visual representation of your business / brand and how it reaches your audience.
Squarespace is a reliable and time tested platform that keeps costs budget minded, but also allows for robust integrations, e-commerce capabilities, and growth over time. I have been working with this platform over 10 years.
What's included
Intake & Consultation
We will discuss your website goals, functions, and content or we will review your current website (if applicable). The conversation will be an extensive intake to understand the necessary components of your website, how to best reach your audience, and how the website will function as an arm of your business / brand.
Initial Concept
I do not deliver sketches or rough drafts. You will receive a website to review with a homepage and a few interior pages. At this stage, feedback will be collected from you and any edits to direction will be made by me. Once the general "look and feel" of the website is on track with your approval, the remaining interior pages will be created.
Any body copy at this stage will be placeholder text.
Full Website for Review
This service includes a homepage and interior pages that are deemed necessary in the intake (up to 5). The content on all pages at this stage will be complete copy, no placeholder copy.
You will review and provide a list of any necessary edits needed to reach launch. If revisions are requested, an updated version will be sent to you for final review.
Launch
Upon approval, hosting will be charged (billed directly through Squarespace) and a domain will be linked to the site (domains can be provided through a 3rd party or purchased directly within Squarespace). The site will then be taken "live". You will be given "Owner" permissions of the site and receive a backend login. I will remain as an admin on the site for ongoing support, or I can be removed at your request.
