Project Documentation and Planning
The project begins with a detailed plan covering the scope, no. of revisions, timeline and milestones. Additionally, a design system will be provided, outlining the UI/UX principles, brand guidelines, and reusable components.
Headless CMS Setup
Shopify will be set up as the backend for product management, payments, and shipping, with Smootify used to connect it to Webflow. Custom APIs may be created to ensure smooth data flow for product listings, customer authentication, and cart functions.
Front-End Development
Custom Webflow development will include product, category, and checkout pages, with Relume components for consistency. The site will be optimized for SEO and performance, with animations and interactions enhancing the user experience.
Testing & Quality Assurance (QA)
Comprehensive testing will ensure Shopify, Webflow, and Smootify are properly integrated. This includes product display, cart functionality, checkout, and cross-browser/device compatibility to ensure smooth user experiences across all platforms.
Launch and Post-Launch Support
The store will be launched, with analytics set up to track performance. Post-launch, there will be ongoing monitoring and support for 60-90 days, along with training materials to help the client manage the store.
Final Report and Handover
The final deliverables will include a project summary, design files, code, and Shopify/Smootify documentation. A maintenance plan may also be provided for ongoing updates and support.
