About this service
Summary
Please, note that this is not a web development service, but strictly a formatting service. This is great to give some structure to your content and have the bare bones of a HTML page for a website. However, changes might still be required during the web development process.
Markdown: the content of your document will be styled using the plain-text markup language known as 'Markdown'. For example: *bolding* words using asterisks (*) or creating hyperlinks with the [title](URL) syntax.
Semantic HTML: the content of your document will be contained in elements that are tied to their meaning rather than their appearance only. Example: a subtitle will be in a <h2> or <h3> element, rather than a simple <span>.
Here are a few examples of when that can be helpful:
you have a whole ReadMe document for your GitHub project in plain text and in need of Markdown styling;
you have a large amount of text that you want to transfer to a page on your website and need help to quickly get a HTML skeleton together;
The document can be delivered in .md or .txt format. You can request a different type if needed.
Process
I will format and return your document in 2 days at a rate of €20 (~$23) for up to 1,000 words.
If your project is larger than that, it might take me longer to complete and the price per 1,000 words can also vary. Feel free to get in touch to discuss specifics.
About revisions
📝For clarity, here is how a revision is defined: a request to alter the final work that I submitted to you, the client. A revision can contain multiple edit requests as long as it is within the reasonable. For instance, as part of one revision:
You cannot ask me to format a brand-new document;
You can ask me to remove the styling of an element and request a change to the structure of a section, e.g. turning a list into a table.
You get one free revision, any revision request after that will cost €20 (~$23) each.
Please, bear in mind that depending on the nature and amount of revisions requested, it might take longer to deliver your project.
I will always be mindful of your time when working on a project, and I demand that you reciprocate the thought and do not abuse the revision system. ⏳
