Summary
Step into the boundless realms of imagination with my comic book drawing services, where each line breathes life into captivating characters and gripping narratives. As an exceptional storyteller, I craft vivid worlds where heroes rise, villains fall, and every panel is a journey waiting to unfold. Let me weave your ideas into vibrant illustrations that will leave readers spellbound and craving for more.
Process
The first step that I usually do whenever I design or create a comic book is designing all of the important characters and elements and locations that will play an important part in the story. In this step, I will read the story a few times, plan color pallets for everything and make a psychological and physical descriptive board for each of those assets, After which the drawing process begins.
After having everything literally and figuratively speaking mapped out, if the client did not already, we will need to figure out the script and all the descriptions for every single panel, their sizes and their placements on paper taking in consideration key notes such as the "bleed" and rendering size (dpi).
In order to make the drawing process more efficient, I usually begin with a very rough sketch, almost abstract, in which I place and figure out the text bubbles and their designs. The text bubble is part of the composition, and if it is opaque and not see through, I would not need to draw behind it (decision that will save a lot of time)
After that, I begin with the actual sketch, figuring out the action lines and the angles of each shot, then continue with the linework and basic background concept.
Reaching the middle stage of the project we have the base color and the background refinement, or as I like to call it, the ugly, flat and stage. This is the most time consuming stage out of all of them, usually taking about the same as all the previous stages and sometimes even more. In this stage I have to put my color theory skills to the test, making sure that only the right actions are emphasized and deciding on how to guide the viewer's glance throughout the page with color.
The final stage is adding all the effects. From light to shadows, reflections to refractions and every material design that you can think of. This is by far my favorite stage as this was the first technique I came up with on my own as a beginner digital artist, and this technique is what sets me apart from other artists and even current AI engines.
After the drawing stage is over I decide on how the cover should look like. Being a story teller and a professional at that I understand the importance of having a cover that describes the interior of the book and not just some random illustration.
Extras:
The design of the comic book is now done, but there is still something left: Making it ready for print. Because I designed it with a bleed margin in mind and at the right resolution, the only thing left is figuring out which page will get paired with which (eg. front Page 1 - front Page 10; back Page 9, front Page 3 - front Page 8, back Page 2; etc.)
