Find the weak points in your English test before learners encounter them. I review task quality, intended CEFR alignment and scoring guidance, then give your team an evidence-linked improvement plan.

Who this is for

Language schools, EdTech teams and training providers with an existing English assessment, item bank or placement-test draft. Particularly useful before a pilot, a content release or a rubric revision.

What you receive

• Review of up to 20 objective items, two speaking tasks, two writing tasks and two associated rubrics from one assessment.
• An item-by-item workbook covering clarity, language accuracy, answer keys, task demand, accessibility considerations and alignment with your intended CEFR descriptors.
• A concise PDF report with a severity-ranked issue list and three priority improvements.
• Tracked rewrites of up to five agreed items or task instructions.
• A 45-minute findings call and one consolidated correction or clarification round, requested within seven calendar days of delivery.

How we work

1. A 30-minute kickoff establishes the learner group, test purpose, intended levels and review questions.
2. I examine your source material and document each finding against the relevant item, rubric or descriptor.
3. You receive the report, editable workbook and selected rewrites.
4. We discuss the priorities and agree what should be checked during the next pilot.

What I need from you

Editable test content, answer keys, rubrics, intended CEFR levels, learner age range, delivery conditions and the decisions the test is intended to support. Send only material you are authorised to share; remove learner identifiers.

Price and timing

USD 750 for the stated scope. Delivery within 10 business days of the agreed start date, once the complete brief and materials are received. Larger item banks, additional test forms or additional revision rounds are quoted separately. Any platform charges are separate.

Why work with me

I am Suliman Abdelaty, FHEA, FRSA, an English Language Assessment and AI Quality Specialist with 12+ years in education. My experience includes accepted assessment content for an international EdTech client and published research on assessment reliability. I carry out the review personally.

Scope and next step

This is a specialist content and rubric review. CEFR mappings are reasoned design judgements; the service does not certify a test, establish a validated cut score or supply a psychometric study. Send your test purpose, intended levels and approximate item count through Contra, and I will confirm fit and an available start date.
