What's included
Full Site Structure
A complete view of all the pages on the website, their purpose, how they interlink and their target keywords. This overview includes looking at the features to implement e.g. log-ins, comments, newsletter sign-up form, etc.
UX/UI Design Prototype
Based on discussions and a moodboard I will create a high fidelity mock-up of the website in Figma. This will allow us to use the site as if it were functional, with buttons and a responsive design.
Installing Theme and Plug-Ins
Once the design is finalised, I'll implement it. My general principle is to only install the needed plug-ins: bloating has many negative consequences. I will also recommend plug-ins based on your priorities and budget.
On-Page SEO and Technical SEO
I will implement all necessary on-page SEO, and we can discuss what schema you would like to implement (this is needed to have a product shown in the Google shopping tab for e.g.).
Content Plan and Starter Blog Posts
I'll create a SEO content plan based on detailed keyword research, and will write a starter set of blog posts (4-12) to start ranking.
Miscellaneous
I'll setup any additional systems for e.g. email marketing or advanced analytics.
Handover
I'll ensure all systems and processes are clearly documented and easy for you or someone else to run. I'll also create a short custom guide with tips on SEO and development best practices.

The fewer the better: If left unchecked plug-ins will bloat your code, making your website run slower, create conflicts in features, generally make the code a mess and expose you to security risks.
The most critical categories of plug-ins to consider: Security, Backups, Builders (e.g. Elementor, Kadence, Bricks etc.) and Image Optimization.
Other optional categories include Custom Fields, GDPR Compliance, Spam Protection, Caching, Email Marketing and more. SEO plug-ins are not necessary, but if you do install one, then avoid Yoast and Rank Math as these are considered nagware and can over-complicate SEO.
This depends on the length of blog posts and the number. For example, 4 short blog posts (<1000 words) cost $250, while 12 short blog posts costs $600. See my content writing service for more information.
No, I don't use AI for any of my writing. If you prefer to use AI then I will create a content plan from which you can work.
