This is for founders and product leaders who need someone senior to run the design function before a full-time Head of Design makes sense. I join the working team, help decide what deserves attention, review what is shipping, and take responsibility for the priority product surface.

The engagement works best when design decisions are spread across founders, product, and engineering, an existing designer needs stronger direction, or the company is preparing to hire and needs the function shaped first.

The monthly scope can include product and experience strategy, weekly design reviews, roadmap and scope decisions, design system direction, hiring and mentoring, and hands-on product design where it matters most. I work directly with product and engineering instead of handing over recommendations from the sidelines.

You get up to eight reserved days each month. We set priorities at the start of each cycle, meet weekly, and use async reviews between sessions. The minimum commitment is three months.

The starting price is $10,000 per month. Engagements with several product areas, team management, active hiring, or heavier delivery are quoted at $12,000 to $15,000 per month.

This is different from advisory. Advisory gives you scheduled strategic input. This engagement gives you ongoing leadership and reserved delivery capacity. It is also different from a fixed-fee project because priorities can change as the product changes.
