Wireframes are basic, low-fidelity sketches of the website or product's layout. Wireframes focus on the structure and layout of the page, without detailing colors, images, or specific content. Unless we are working with templates from Shopify or Wordpress or other providers, wireframes are a necessary part of Websites and Applications.

Mockups are detailed visual representations of how the website will look, including colors, typography, images, and other design elements. This process will be completed in phases, beginning with rough mockups and refining the design based on feedback, progressing from intermediate to final designs.

Prototyping involves creating interactive, clickable mockups to simulate user interactions and navigation. This helps in testing the user experience before actual development.

During this stage, content writers, photographers, and videographers create or gather the necessary text, images, videos, and other multimedia elements that will populate the website. I can provide the all of the content, or work with one of my partners for written content, photography, and video creation.

The hand-off between a designer and a developer is a critical step in translating the design concept into a functional website. Here are some of the key aspects to that will be delivered during this hand off: design assets, style guide, interaction and animation details, responsive or adaptive designs considerations and more. If a website is being built on a templatized provider such as Shopify, the development can be handled by me, if not we can work with on of my developer partners or a developer of your choosing.

A design system, is a comprehensive set of guidelines, principles, assets, and tools that are created and maintained to ensure consistency, efficiency, and cohesion in the design and development process. It serves as a single source of truth for all design and user interface elements used in an application or website.
