An effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategy builds a website's online presence in a sustainable way. The first step will be to audit your current website to assess the health state of the website and its ranking. Then, I will run a competitive analysis based on major direct and indirect competitors. Then, there’s the audience’s research focusing on relevant topics and search volumes.

The next step is defining an SEO strategy that describes the main takeaways of the analysis and research session, and defines the key aspects of the solution: the goals (what we can reasonably achieve), the KPIs (how we will measure performance), the action plan (what is needed to implement), the timeline (when and how actions take place), the resources (in terms of tools, channels, account access, etc….).

Once the strategy is discussed with the client and approved, it’s time for the implementation phase. The implementation can be carried out by me, or in-house by the company’s employees and collaborators. In case you choose the latter, then an extra training cost will be applied, to get the operational team on the right path. The implementation takes place in multiple steps, starting from a general on-site optimization of all relevant web pages, and then continuing with monthly-based activities such as the creation of new optimized content, and off-site optimization through link building.

While the implementation is deployed, I will take care of monitoring the website’s performance in terms of ranking and content engagement. I will provide regular reports and suggest further improvements based on the strategy’s output.
