Documentation. Usage guidelines written so the system gets used, not ignored.
Handoff. A walkthrough with your team and developers, plus time for questions.
Pricing & timeline
A full design system is $5,000 and runs about 3 weeks. That covers the audit, tokens, and a core library of 20ā25 components (with the variants and states your product needs), full documentation, and dev-ready handoff. Bigger system? We scope it during the audit and price the difference at $1,000 per additional 8ā10 components. Want ongoing updates once it's shipped? That's what my monthly design retainer covers.
