About this service

Summary

What's holding your podcast back from reaching its full potential? If design is one of them, you've come to the right place.
This complete branding package gives you everything you need to look professional everywhere your podcast lives – from strategic cover art that grabs attention, to a cohesive social media package that keeps your audience engaged.
I'll dig deep to find your show's unique visual story and transform it into a brand that makes people stop scrolling and start listening.

Process

Step 1 - Kickoff
Let’s do this! This is where it all begins: you do a lot of talking, I do a lot of listening.
The goal here is to understand as much as I can about your brand, your individual perspective and all your various needs, likes, dislikes, goals, and expectations for our work together.
I might ask questions like:
Who are your main competitors?
Who is your target audience?
What feelings do you want the brand to convey?
Step 2 - Initial Sketches
This is where your vision starts taking shape. I'll transform the findings from our kickoff discussion into 2-3 rough, distinct concept sketches that explore different directions for your podcast brand.
These aren't final designs – think of them as creative springboards that help us zero in on what really resonates with you.
The concept sketches usually include things like:
Different layout approaches for your cover art
Various typography and color combinations
Moodboards that capture the feeling we're after
Quick mockups showing how your brand could look across platforms
Step 3 - Concept Refinement
After you've selected your favorite direction, I'll create three polished variations of that concept. Each variation will maintain the core idea you loved while exploring different nuances and details.
This phase usually includes:
Fine-tuned color palettes within your chosen direction
Refined typography and layout adjustments
Detailed icon and graphic elements
More precise platform mockups
Step 4 - Final Design Development
This is where we perfect every detail of your chosen design. Through collaborative feedback and careful refinement, we'll ensure your podcast brand truly captures your vision.
During this phase, I will typically:
Polish every visual element to pixel perfection
Prepare your brand assets in all required formats
Create your comprehensive brand guidelines
Set you up for consistent, professional presentation across all platforms
Step 5 - It's Go Time
Time to get your new brand out into the world! I'll deliver a complete package of assets ready for immediate use, plus guidance on implementing them effectively.
You'll receive:
High and low-resolution cover art files
Social media banner templates
Brand guidelines PDF
A final walkthrough of your assets and how to use them

I hired Mads to create a showreel for my agency, Good Looking Design. As a designer, I’m particular about visuals, and Mads was the perfect fit. He was a pleasure to work with—collaborative, detail-oriented, and open to feedback. His Loom videos explained every choice, showcasing his dedication. The process felt effortless, and the final result exceeded my expectations. If you’re considering working with Mads, my advice is simple: do it. You won’t be disappointed.
