As a 3D artist and someone who’s deeply into running and endurance sports, I’ve always wanted to build my own running brand someday.
So for the Melius Challenge, I decided to create VZZN — a conceptual running brand built entirely through an AI-assisted creative workflow mixed with traditional motion design and editing.
The idea was simple:
What if you could feed a logo into a system and instantly generate an entire brand universe around it?
Using AI tools, I built a workflow that takes a single logo and expands it into:
• a full brand sheet + identity system
• apparel concepts and running vests
• character design / mascot generation
• visual language and campaign aesthetics
• storyboard concepts
• generated scenes and motion sequences
From there, I brought everything into my own pipeline using After Effects and traditional editing techniques to turn it into a full cinematic brand promo.
What made this project exciting for me is that it came from something personal. I’m a runner myself, so the visual direction, energy, pacing, and aesthetics were heavily inspired by the culture around performance running, race mentality, and sports fashion.
This wasn’t about replacing creativity with AI.
It was about accelerating ideation and building a faster way to prototype entire campaign worlds as a solo artist.
Really excited to be part of this challenge and see where creative workflows are heading.
