Emma Chamberlain's Met Gala Look by Mugler

A fashion illustration capturing Emma Chamberlain's Met Gala appearance in Mugler.

This piece was an exercise in translating a high-profile red carpet moment into an illustrated editorial format. The challenge was preserving the drama and structure of the Mugler design while adding the interpretive layer that only hand illustration can bring.

The rendering process used markers for bold color blocking, color pencils for detail and shading, and pastels to build depth and atmosphere around the figure. Pencil was used for the initial sketch and fine linework. The final piece was cleaned up and color-corrected in Photoshop.

The illustration captures both the architectural quality of the garment and the energy of the Met Gala moment itself.
