Infor/Enroute - Develop Excel Feed from SQL Server Database

Enroute and their client lacked technical expertise in managing a Microsoft Excel workbook that housed critical business data analyses. Initially, Enroute proposed a labor-intensive solution involving the creation of multiple SQL Server Reporting Services reports to replicate the Excel analyses. Recognizing the inefficiency of this approach, I suggested a more efficient strategy: mastering the intricacies of the Excel workbook and developing a workbook data feed directly from the client's SQL Server database.

Employing a .Net sub-framework tailored for Excel development, I swiftly developed a streamlined data feed utility. This solution was implemented in a fraction of the time it would have taken to construct the reports. By leveraging the existing Excel workbook, the client could seamlessly continue their data management practices, alleviating the need for additional reporting systems.
