Mobile app for dyslexic children

Intro 🔎

We made this application that will improve child's overall abilities to learn, read and write with fun. Our app have different sections 1. Activities 2. Games 3. Dashboard 4. News 5. Parents Guidance





Problem 🤝

Problem was a neglected problem i.e. dyslexia. Dyslexia is a mental disability which causes the children not to understand stuff, learn things and to interpret writings. Basically a dyslexic child is not comfortable in learning, reading and writing.

We made this application that will improve child's overall abilities to learn, read and write with fun. Our app have different sections 1. Activities 2. Games 3. Dashboard 4. News 5. Parents Guidance



A Worthy Solution 🛣

1. Activity: This section contains all the activities that will help children improve their abilities. We categorized all activities into three main categories. Math, Reading, Writing. Math Activities had all math related sums and operations for children . In Reading Activities we used alphabets to make children comfortable with reading and recognizing the letters. In Writing we had tracing activity which improves their writing abilities. For fun we also added drawing board for children to draw. We used animations and different flutter widgets in this section. 2. Games: The Activity section was to improve their abilities and the games section is to test their improvements. We have multiple games for children that are fun for children and it also scores their result. We have all the dyslexia based games that are good for them. We used multiple flutter widgets including the dragging feature, the future function and much more. 3. Dashboard: The dashboard provides us with the calculations of activity and games separately. We get detailed analysis of children's results of activity and games. We used data that came from different files from all over the application in order to process these calculations. 4. Parents Guidance: We also took care of parents in this app. We developed a separate section for parents to learn and to be aware of dyslexia. We made 2 sections in this, one for spreading awareness about dyslexia and other for giving tips to parents to treat their children. 5. Dyslexia News: We used an API to fetch news about dyslexia from all around the world. This section was made to keep parents up to date about dyslexia.

For this worthy solution, our app was selected in top 50 best projects from all around the world by Google in Solution Challenge 2022
