Azure Makeup - 3D Product Animation

THE MISSION

With client work, I try to incorporate 3D product animations whenever possible. Sometimes, the client doesn’t know how 3D can work to showcase their products. While working with this makeup client, I had the opportunity to prove that the concept was viable for them. For this test video, I wanted to create a short 3D product animation featuring a number of makeup products. My hope was that they would pursue 3D animations for future ad ideas. All branding has been changed in this version of the video to highlight a fake beauty brand, Azure.

THE OUTCOME

The 3D product animation highlights 5 different makeup products and their multiple color palettes. The makeup is brought to life through abstract movements, color reveals, and simple but elegant settings.

THE IMPACT

I shared this video with the client, with the hopes that this would lead to more opportunities to highlight this client’s products with 3D animation. Thankfully, they liked the video and agreed to run and test 3D animated ads to see how they would perform.
