A four-track FM drum synthesizer designed for Ableton Live.
Originally built for my own use, I created it to generate cold, digital-sounding drum loops with full control over timbre and texture. I wanted something minimal—essentially a metallic, raw drum machine that could be easily disassembled and modulated inside Ableton using native tools like LFOs and effects.
🔧 Features:
Individual Outputs: Each of the four drum tracks has its own output. To route them separately, create an empty audio track in Ableton, set its input to Visage, and choose from channels 1–5 (Kick = 1, FX = 5, etc.).
MIDI Triggering: Each drum voice can be triggered via MIDI notes from C1 to D#1.
Track Sequencer Control: A dedicated mode lets you start/stop the sequencer per track—great for arrangement workflows. Enable this in the settings, and use MIDI notes C0 to D#0 to toggle each track:
Note on (hold) = sequencer plays
Note off = sequencer stops
is built around simplicity, harshness, and flexibility—think lo-fi FM drums with enough modularity to fit into experimental setups or club-driven patterns.
