PeerHive is an innovative platform designed to help students share, access, and generate study materials with personalized AI-driven recommendations. The platform solves the challenge of finding relevant, often hard-to-access resources, such as handwritten notes and specific assignments, by transforming them into searchable digital content.

OCR Integration: Converts handwritten notes into searchable, editable digital content.

AI-Generated Content: Offers AI-driven recommendations for study materials based on user preferences and academic needs.

Advanced Search: Built using Elasticsearch for fast, precise search results across indexed notes and resources.

File Handling: Seamless file management using Cloudinary for handling large uploads of various file types, including images and PDFs.

Despite not making it to the top 3 at Tic-Tech-Toe '24, we are proud to have earned Special Consideration for our innovative approach. This project was a major learning experience, especially for the team members involved in exploring new technologies like React.js and ShadCN, which were key to building the front-end experience.
