Código 1530 Immersive Brand Experience Design

What if a tequila tasting could feel like stepping into the world behind the bottle?

For this Código 1530 concept, I explored how a premium tequila brand could translate its identity into a physical experience.
The environment combines handcrafted timber structures, warm metallic details, patterned screens, architectural lighting, product storytelling, and an intimate Reposado lounge.
The goal was simple: create a space that doesn't just display the brand it makes guests experience it.

OVERVIEW

The objective was to create a branded environment that feels distinctly Código 1530 without relying solely on traditional product branding.
I developed the experience around a combination of dark Oak wood, warm gold, patterned screens, architectural lighting, agave-inspired elements, and premium product displays. The space was designed to progressively reveal the brand from the entrance experience through product discovery and finally into a more intimate tasting and lounge environment.
The result is a complete experiential environment that combines brand visibility, product presentation, hospitality, and visual storytelling.

A strong first impression.

The experience begins with a statement entrance inspired by Código 1530's premium, handcrafted character. A timber portal frames the journey into the space, while warm integrated lighting and gold detailing establish the brand's luxury presence from the first point of contact.

Designed to make the product part of the experience.

The entrance opens into a curated product discovery area, where Código 1530 bottles and branded storytelling elements become part of the architecture. The display was designed to encourage guests to slow down, explore, and engage with the brand.

The Heart of the experience.

At the center of the activation is an elevated tasting bar designed around product visibility and interaction. The timber frame, illuminated Código branding, patterned backdrop, and integrated bottle presentation create a focal point that brings the entire experience together.

A complete brand moment.

This front-facing view captures the activation as a cohesive branded environment. Product, architecture, lighting, graphics, and hospitality elements work together to create a strong visual centerpiece while keeping the Código 1530 identity at the forefront.

Every angle tells the story.

The angled view highlights the relationship between the tasting bar, product displays, illuminated graphics, and surrounding architecture. Layered materials and lighting add depth while maintaining a consistent visual language throughout the space.

Designed from the experience outward.

An overhead view reveals the overall spatial arrangement, showing how the entrance, tasting area, product displays, circulation paths, and lounge elements connect into one experience.
The layout was developed to guide guests naturally through the environment rather than treating each branded element as a standalone installation.

A space to slow down.

Moving beyond the tasting experience, the Reposado area introduces a more intimate environment inspired by Código's heritage. Warm timber, woven textures, agave elements, and handcrafted furniture create a relaxed setting for guests to sit, connect, and experience the brand at a slower pace.

DESIGN APPROACH

Material & Visual Language

The material palette was intentionally built around a balance of warmth, craftsmanship, and luxury.
Timber Creates a handcrafted, heritage-driven foundation.
Gold accents Introduce a premium layer and reinforce the Código identity.
Patterned screens Add visual depth while allowing light to pass through the structure.
Warm architectural lighting Creates an intimate evening atmosphere and highlights key brand moments.
Agave & rustic elements Connect the experience to tequila's cultural and natural origins.
Product integration Places Código bottles at the center of the guest journey rather than treating them as decoration.
