Protective Shoes Prototype

Project description. This model of shoes was designed to provide protection against Mycetoma, a severe disease caused by bacteria or fungi present underwater of crop fields. Affects African farmers and from other countries as well. I modeled the prototype of this shoe for Frtl Creative Labs being provided only with a rough pen sketch and written feedback. Providing a clean design, several photorealistic renders and delivering the resulting 3D mesh ready to be 3D printed so the company could send it to Germany to start the prototyping stage were only some of the challenges that this project implied.
