This case study details the development of a web-based platform for Jitera, a "low-code" software provider, designed to facilitate background screening through reference checks.
The previous platform lacked functionality for background screening of individuals, necessitating a solution for investigating new applicants.
Solution I implemented a microservice architecture using Node.js, with services for authentication, user management, and inquiry handling.
Key features included: Auth Service: Managed authentication for roles like Admin and Investigator. Notification System: Provided UI notifications and email alerts. Data Security: Ensured access controls and encryption.
Results The platform supports detailed investigations with roles for Admin, Investigator, and Referee, allowing streamlined inquiry requests.
