Bolsas Sociais Oeiras | Promo Animation

Oeiras municipality has one of the biggest scholarship programs in Portugal. It reaches thousands of young students who want to advance in their education, many from impoverished social backgrounds. The idea for this animation was to bring awareness to — not only the social program — but the success and life-affirming stories of the participants.We were asked to create an engaging and fun video showcasing Oeiras' role in the lives of young people living in their municipality. The biggest challenge was to funnel all the statistical information regarding the specificities of each grant, in a captivating and fun narrative — having in mind that this video is aimed at young people who finish high school.

Through a light and dynamic animation​​​​​​​, captivating characters that represented the 3 types of grants — social, merit and PALOP — we were able to present and explain these scholarships in a lighthearted way while being humorous and stylish about it.
